City of Edmonds' Comprehensive Transportation Plan

The Transportation Plan was updated in July 2015 and the previous Transportation Plan was completed in 2009. The plan includes both short-range and long-range strategies that will lead to the development of an integrated multimodal transportation system that facilitates the safe and efficient movement of people and goods, while addressing current and future transportation demand as well as land use. The plan identifies all existing conditions for the various modes of transportation, as well as proposed safety and mobility improvements. Those projects consist of projected improvements through 2035 (20-year plan), including roadway (intersection and corridor), transit, and non-motorized improvements. The document conforms with all requirements for comprehensive planning listed in the Washington State Growth Management Act Chapter 36.70A.RCW and is consistent with PSRC Transportation 2040.
