The Department of Parks, Recreation and Human Services, located at the Frances Anderson Center, serves as the community's key resource for providing parks, open space, recreation programs and cultural arts for the enjoyment of Edmonds citizens and visitors to the community.

The Department plays a vital role in many aspects of community life, with staff liaisons to the Edmonds Library Board, the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery Board, the Planning/Parks Board, the Edmonds Youth Commission and the Edmonds Arts Commission. Click here for boards and commissions information.

The Frances Anderson Center, Meadowdale Clubhouse & Plaza Room are OPEN.

Masks will be voluntary for community members who enter City buildings.

As a City we remain committed to the safety of our community and urge park users who are eligible to get fully vaccinated and please stay home if you are sick.  

  

Edmonds Waterfront Center is OPEN for Edmonds Parks, Recreation & Human Services programming.

 

Yost Pool is now open and operated by Cascade Swim Club.

 

Civic Park - CLOSED Due to Construction

  • Civic Park is closed for construction through Winter 2022.   We apologize for the inconvenience but look forward to the beautiful new park to enjoy when it is over. 

 Sports Fields

  • Sports Fields are open for drop in use.
  • Field rental requests are being accepted (425-771-0229 or [email protected]) and additional information about field rentals can be found on the rental page.

Picnic Shelters, City Park Pavilion and City Park Gazebo

  • These locations are available on a first come, first serve basis unless previously reserved
  • These amenities are available for reservation April - September; additional information can be found on the facility rentals page
  • Water is not available at these locations
