Non-refundable deposit required to reserve Edmonds Plaza Room or Meadowdale Clubhouse (fee applied toward room rental). Rental fee, damage deposit, event insurance, liquor liability insurance with policy endorsement and banquet permit are due in full 60 days prior to rental. Returned check fee is $30.

Green Food Service Policy
The governmental operations of the City of Edmonds will no longer purchase or provide single-use polystyrene or other plastic-based, non-compostable food service packaging or ware for any city-sponsored function providing food and/or beverages. Renters and officially-recognized users of City owned buildings are strongly encouraged to comply with these restrictions.

Picnic Shelter Rental Rates (April - September):

  • Monday-Thursday: $125 full day
  • Friday: $150 full day
  • Saturday or Sunday AM: (9am-2pm): $150 half day
  • Saturday or Sunday PM: (3pm-9pm): $150 half day
  • Saturday or Sunday: $200 full day

October - March all picnic shelters are first come, first serve. Water is typically unavailable in these months. 

Full payment due at time of reservation. Cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted. No deposit required, returned check fee $30. Cancellations accepted up to 60 calendar days prior to rental date, minus a $20 cancellation fee. No refunds within 60 days of reservation date.

Picnic Shelter Rules and Rental Agreement

City Park (600 3rd Ave. S) Picnic Shelter #1, #2, and #3:

  •  Maximum 100 guests
  • Shelters include a sink, 6 picnic tables, double outlet and BBQ

City Park amenities include: restrooms, parking lot, playground, Hazel Miller Spray Park, wooded area, athletic field, horseshoe pit, two fire pits. Reservable areas include picnic shelters, gazebo, Pavilion and athletic field. Fire pits are not reservable; bring own fire wood.

Hickman Park (23700 104th Ave. W.) Picnic Shelter

  • Maximum 100 guests
  • Shelter includes sink, 6 picnic tables, double outlet and BBQ

Hickman Park amenities include: two portable restrooms (one ADA), 25 parking spots, basketball court, playground, walking path, wooded area, open space and athletic fields. Reservable areas include picnic shelter and ball field.

City Park gazebo & civic park shade structure

CITY PARK Pavilion & frances anderson center bandshell 

These are outdoor auditoriums each has a stage and grass area for spectator seating.

City Park (600 3rd Ave. S) Pavilion: 

  • No power, tables or chairs.
  • Cooking is not allowed, concrete surface must remain clean
  • Located on East side of the park near the large grass field

Pavilion Rental Rate:  $60 full day (April - September) - other months first come first serve

  • Power available on the stage.
  • ADA accessible
  • Near the playground
  • Terraced grass seating for spectators
  • Cooking is not allowed, concrete surface must remain clean

Bandshell Rental Rate:  $60 full day (April - September) - other months first come first serve

ATHLETIC FIELDS

Review the Athletic Field Use Policies and Procedures for information regarding field allocation, scheduling priorities and timelines, insurance requirements, policies, rules of conduct, locations, hours and more. 

  

Athletic Field Rental Rates: 

  • $15 per hour residents; $20 per hour non-residents
  • All rentals are a minimum 2-hours
  • Civic Center Playfield light fee $20 per hour 
  • One-time $30 administrative fee per permit 
  • 50% of rental fee due when field allocation is approved
  • 50% due within 30 days of final billing

Cancellation & Refund Policy: 

  • Full refund available if City declares field unsafe and is unable to provide an alternate location
  • Refunds are not issued for weather related cancellations (rainouts)

 Field Scheduling & Allocation: 

  • Athletic field allocations happen three times per year.
  • Late applications will be considered after the allocation process is complete, on a first-come first-served basis.
    • Spring/Summer Season (March - August) Application's accepted in January & February
    • Fall Season (September - November, subject to weather conditions) - applications accepted July & August
    • Winter Season (December - February, subject to weather conditions) - applications accepted November & Decembe
