Parks, Recreation & Human Services Volunteer Opportunities

The City of Edmonds Department of Parks and Recreation offers volunteer opportunities throughout the city for both individuals and groups as part of our Neighborhood Stewards program. Neighborhood Stewards work closely with Parks staff to accomplish many maintenance tasks and may also work on special projects. Volunteers can work within most of the city’s parks, picnic areas, athletic fields, playgrounds, and natural areas. Available projects are listed below.

To learn more about volunteering in a park or to propose a special project, please contact the Program Coordinator at jennifer.leach[at]edmondswa.gov or call 425-771-0227.

Volunteer in the Arts

It takes over 1,000 volunteer hours each year to make the Arts Commission programs possible. Thank you to all who so generously give their time and expertise to programs such as Write on the Sound or visual art exhibits or Concerts in the Park. Join us for opportunities to be involved in the arts in Edmonds, 425-771-0228 or email [email protected].
