The City undertook significant efforts to communicate with the public and stakeholders throughout the Highway 99 Revitalization Stage 1 planning project including:
- 2 meetings with local agency stakeholders including Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Shoreline, Community Transit, and WSDOT,
- 1 meeting with utility company representatives,
- 4 meetings with the Parks and Public Works Committee and City Council,
- 4 meetings with groups of adjacent Property Owners, and
- A public open house On March 7, 2018 (see information below).
On March 7th, the City of Edmonds held an open house to discuss the Highway 99 Gateway & Revitalization Project. Building from the subarea planning process completed in 2017, the open house focused on making design decisions about how the corridor will look, feel, and function.
