Kids get ready! The Hazel Miller Spray Park at City Park is officially open for business this Saturday, May 23! Just in time to kick off Memorial Day, the park will be open 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
While one park is opening, another is temporarily closing for a week. Half of the playground (and ONLY the playground) at Civic Center Playfield will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, May 19 through Monday, May 25 for warranty repairs to the playground surfacing. The slide and hill will remain open.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to complete repairs and ensure the play area remains safe and enjoyable for families. The closed part of the playground is expected to reopen Tuesday, May 26, weather permitting.
