The City of Edmonds is currently at the 60% design level of the Highway 99 Revitalization Project - Stage 3. The public is invited to complete an Urban Design Elements survey.
The goal of this project is to revitalize the southern end of the Highway 99 from 244th St SW to 238th St SW and improve the safety for all active transportation users traveling along this stretch of Highway 99.
This ½ mile section of Hwy 99 is home to a wide range of local businesses, family homes, and modern industry, presenting a unique and vibrant landscape that represents a diversity of residents and activities. As such, a key goal of this project is to encapsulate the area’s character through distinct and intentional urban design elements.
The public is invited to engage and share perspectives about how to achieve this goal. Your valuable input will shape the final decisions, ensuring that any urban design elements along the Highway 99 corridor meets the needs of local residents while becoming a defining feature of the roadway. The survey only takes 10 minutes to complete and will close on May 14th.
