Edmonds Arts Commission Student Representative

A position on the Edmonds Arts Commission (EAC) is reserved for a student between the ages of 16-25 with any level of experience or background in the visual, literary, and/or performing arts, and who lives in Edmonds. The student representative is encouraged to report on local youth artistic events and activities, and to participate in various commission project as outlined by the EAC. the position rotates annually. Youth Arts Education Partnerships

The EAC connects with Edmonds youth through periodic partnerships with a variety of organizations and programs to encourage youth arts education. Partnerships include an annual partnership with Edmonds Center for the Arts to promote and support youth and family oriented presentation/workshop and other arts participation opportunities offered periodically in association with other Edmonds organizations.


The Best Book I Ever Read Poster Exhibit

Focused on the literary and visual arts in partnership with the Friends of the Edmonds Library and the Edmonds Sno-Isle Library, the EAC annually presents the Best Book I Ever Read Poster Exhibit for Third Grade students who reside in Edmonds, or who attend a school within Edmonds.
