Best Book Poster Exhibit

Each year, the Edmonds Arts Commission and the Friends of the Edmonds Library promote literacy and visual art for 3rd grade age students through The Best Book I Ever Read Poster Exhibit.

How to Participate

1. Third Grade students who live in Edmonds or attend a school within Edmonds city limits are eligible to participate.

2.  Chose a book to read, or use one you have read before as inspiration for your poster. Any book will do! Need some ideas what to read? Look over a selection of children’s books , provided by the Edmonds Sno-Isle Library.

3.  Create a poster! It can depict a scene from your book, or be a picture of the main character, or anything you like best about your book.

  • Make sure you include the title of the book and the full name of the author
  • Use a 8.5x11, 8.5x14 or 11x17 size sheet of paper for your poster.
  • Paint, draw, collage… anything works!
