The City of Edmonds is Updating its Comprehensive Plan and wants your input!
By 2044, the City of Edmonds is projected to add nearly 13,000 residents and 3,000 jobs. The Comprehensive Plan will include goals and policies that help guide growth and development over the next 20 years and cover a wide range of topics, including those noted below.
Between now and September 10, the city is accepting questions and comments on the topics that will be covered in the Plan and the alternatives and potential environmental impacts that will be analyzed in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), as detailed in the EIS Scoping Notice.
Comments can be emailed to [email protected]; mailed to City of Edmonds, Attn: Comprehensive Plan Update, 121 5th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020; or submitted via the online using the form below.
The city will also be attending community events and holding pop-up exercises to gather community feedback, including a Wednesday afternoon “Popsicles in the Park” series where the public can post a comment and get a popsicle. Below is the current list of scheduled events, with more being added to the project website:

• August 30, 4:30-6:00 pm: Popsicles in the Park at Seaview Park (8000 184th St SW)
• August 31, 4:30-6:00 pm: Bistro 76 (18401 76th Ave W)
• September 6, 4:30-6:00 pm: Popsicles in the Park at Yost Park (9535 Bowdoin Way, Pool Area)
• September 7, 4:30-6:00 pm: Firdale Village Shopping Plaza (9600 Firdale Ave)
• September 9, 2-6 pm: Porchfest (Main Street and 5th Ave)
