The City of Edmonds launched its new and improved city website – www.edmondswa.gov
- on Monday, March 23rd
as part of its mission to enhance communications. After several years the previous website had become overloaded with outdated information and links, while the software platform that served as the foundation for the website had become obsolete. Free copies of this great new resource are available for pick up at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street, Edmonds. The 2-sided, folded poster, funded in part through a grant from the Hubbard Family Foundation, features photographic portraits of local species (many by local photographers), habitat information and suggestions for actions that citizens can take to help protect wildlife and watersheds. Picnic Shelter Reservations
Picnic Shelters can be rented from April 1 through September 30. City Park has three shelters and a gazebo, and Hickman Park has one shelter that can be reserved for your enjoyment. The cost per shelter Monday thru Thursday is $110 and $125 on Friday thru Sundays. The gazebo is $60 per reservation. Ball field reservations are $10R and $12NR per hour with a three hour maximum.
