City of Edmonds Residential Rain Garden Project, Round 2!

March 17, 2016

We're installing our second rain garden cluster in Edmonds!  The City of Edmonds is again partnering with the Snohomish Conservation District and WSU Extension, and for our second project, we're installing a rain garden cluster on 3rd Avenue S and 2nd Avenue S.  Construction starts the week of April 20, 2016.  A community planting event is scheduled from 3:30 to 6 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2016.  If you're interested in helping out with the planting event, or have questions about the Residential Rain Garden Progam, contact Mike Cawrse, City of Edmonds Stormwater Technician, at 425-771-0220 or mike.cawrse@edmondswa.gov.  Or stop by the Watershed Fun Fair at the Willow Creek Hatchery from 11 to 3 pm on May 7 and learn how rain gardens and healthy soil can help protect Puget Sound!
