The City's online permit system offers a number of features, including:
- Applying for mechanical and plumbing permits or critical areas reviews;
- Scheduling inspections; and
- Checking permit status.
The City provides a large number of information handouts designed to assist you in obtaining information about applicable standards and permit processes. Application forms are also provided for download.

New office hours
Due to staffing cutbacks, beginning April 10, 2013, our Wednesday hours will be from 8:00am until Noon; afternoon hours will be by appointment only. The phone switchboard will still be open daily until 4:30 and inspection schedules will not be affected. More information here.
