Picnic Shelter Rental Agreement & Rules PDF 

  • Picnic Shelter  $100/day Monday-Thursday; $125/day Friday-Sunday
  • Gazebo at City Park  $60/day
  • Reservation season April 1-September 30.  One reservation per shelter per day.  Reservations accepted 1st Monday of February for the following year.  Call 425.771.0230 for availability.  Full payment due at time of reservation.  Cash, local check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted.  Returned check fee $30.  Cancellations accepted up to 60 calendar days prior to rental date, minus a $20 cancellation fee. No refunds within 60 days of reservation date.
  • Unreserved Shelters If shelters have not been reserved, they are available at no charge on a first-come first serve basis.
  • Alcohol Prohibited Edmonds City Code, Section 5.23.040 prohibits drinking of alcoholic beverages within any city park, beach or playground.
  • Dogs only permitted on leash in southeast wooded area of City Park and paved and wooded paths at Hickman Park.
  • Ball Field Rental Picnic Shelter renters have the first option to rent ball field.  If no shelter rentals wish to reserve ball field, it may be rented out.  Separate ball field rental rate.
  • City Park Unreserved Areas There are two unreservable, uncovered, open areas. Open area #1 has 12 tables and a fire pit; open area #2 has 7 tables and a fire pit. Both areas are UNRESERVABLE and are NOT an extension of any reserved picnic shelter. Both areas are first come, first serve.   Bring your own wood. This information is posted at the shelter. 
  • City Park Gazebo ADA accessible.  Power outlets available, but no cooking facilities.  Personal BBQ’s may be brought in, but renter responsible for carrying out all coals. There is no place to dump the coals in the park.  Gazebo tables are not permanent, cannot guarantee tables will be present on a certain day. Sometimes they are removed and carried to other areas of the park.
  • City Park Pavilion No power, no tables, no chairs and no cooking or private BBQ's allowed in the pavilion or surrounding area.  Concrete surface must remain clean.
