The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, located at the Frances Anderson Center, serves as the community's key resource for providing parks, open space, recreation programs, and cultural arts for the enjoyment of Edmonds citizens and visitors to the community. The Department plays a vital role in many aspects of community life, with staff liaisons to the Edmonds Library Board, the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery Board, the Planning/Parks Board, and the Edmonds Arts Commission.  Click here for boards and commissions information.

Open Houses were held for public input and ideas about what should replace the badly deteriorated “Welcome to Edmonds” sign on WA State Route 104 was held at the Library Plaza Room on November 29 and February 27.
