Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, located at the Frances Anderson Center, serves as the community's key resource for providing parks, open space, recreation programs, and cultural arts for the enjoyment of Edmonds citizens and visitors to the community. The Department plays a vital role in many aspects of community life, with staff liaisons to the Edmonds Library Board, the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery Board, the Planning/Parks Board, and the Edmonds Arts Commission.  Click here for boards and commissions information.

Join the Edmonds Youth Commission!

The Edmonds Youth Commission is a youth led commission whose misson is to protect, preserve, and enhance the quality of life for Edmonds youth by advising the City Council and the public on issues relating to youth policies, programs, and opportunities. The Youth Commission will meet on the first and third wednesday of every month from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
