Edmonds Utilities
The City of Edmonds serves many residences and businesses with water, sewer and storm utility services. Our staff works continually to maintain and improve the utility infrastructure.
Performing work on private property or within the City right-of-way may require permits. Please contact the Development Services Department at 425.771.0220 with any questions you may have related to water, sewer and storm utility installations or repairs. Inquiries related to power, phone, cable and gas services are handled directly by the respective service providers.
Edmonds Utilities Consortium (EUC)
The Edmonds Utilities Consortium was formed in 1999 by the partnership of the City of Edmonds and the utility franchises of Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1, Puget Sound Energy, Frontier, Comcast and Olympic View Water & Sewer District.
EUC Objectives:
- To provide direction to the contractors, builders, developers, and City of Edmonds staff for a coordinated utility environment which maximizes joint utility opportunities to provide quality service for the citizens of Edmonds.
- To provide direction to the Consortium members in the processes of capital project planning, joint trenching, construction, emergency, rushed and joint pole operations and coordination.
