One of the few urban saltwater estuaries remaining in the Puget Sound area.  The marsh is home to 225 species of birds during the course of the year.

Interesting Facts
In 1988, tidal floodgates were removed to return the marsh to a more natural state.  A more diverse fresh and saltwater habitat now exists on the 23-acre site.
 
Directions
I-5 north or I-5 south: Exit 177 towards Edmonds/Kingston Ferry and SR 104.  Slight right onto Edmonds Way/SR 104 W.  Stay left towards Kingston Ferry.  Turn left onto Dayton Street.  Turn left into Harbor Square Business Complex.  Park is along the south side of Harbor Square Business Complex.
