Economic Development

Economic Development Department staff proactively works to strengthen the Edmonds economy, create a more business-friendly environment, and works with other city departments and elected officials on policies to bolster the retail and commercial sectors. We also meet regularly with local businesses, property owners, and associations. If you’re thinking of opening a business in Edmonds, check in with the Economic Development Department first and let us be your guide at City Hall.
