2004 Survey of Historic Places - A survey of historic sites in the downtown area was completed in 2004-2005; the survey identified sites that have historical value and are potentially eligible for listing in the Edmonds Register of Historic Places. A copy of the survey can be downloaded here (3 MB
). Also available are a map (234 KB
) and simple list of the sites surveyed. The survey included 83 sites.
2011 Reconnaissance Survey of Historic Places - This survey expanded on the earlier 2004 survey by adding more downtown sites and expanding the surveyed area to other parts of the city. A total of 122 sites were included in the survey. A copy of the survey report can be downloaded here (6.2MB

) of the sites surveyed.
Register of Historic Places - The Edmonds Historic Preservation Commission maintains the Edmonds Register of Historic Places, listing sites that have been formally "designated" as historic places in Edmonds.
