The Edmonds Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Departments' L.E.A.P. (Learning Enhancement and Activities Program) is accepting registrations for Edmonds residents for $150 per week thanks to additional CARES funding. Non-Edmonds residents can register for $172.50 per week. L.E.A.P. starts October 19th. The program, focused on safety and distance learning support, can accommodate 100 participants, divided by grade into separate classrooms at the Frances Anderson Center. Classroom leaders with backgrounds in education and recreation programs, meet a minimum of 1:10 instructor to participant ratios. 100% fully covered sponsorships are still available for Edmonds residents who are part of the free or reduced lunch program with the Edmonds School District or have incurred a hardship due to COVID-19.
