Roger Brooks
Roger Brooks Presents
"Ingredients for an Outstanding Destination"
Thursday, November 8, 2012
Wade James Theatre
950 Main Street, Edmonds
6:00 - 8:30 pm
Free to attend
NO RSVP Required but limited seating available!

Roger and his Destination Development International (DDI) team have assisted more than a thousand communities in North America and in Europe, with business and tourism development, branding, and marketing efforts.

Today, Roger spends most of his time on the speaking engagement circuit motivating people, businesses, and communities, helping them achieve their goals. He has been the top-rated keynote speaker at every conference at which he has spoken for the better part of the last decade. His dynamic, enthusiastic style leaves audiences excited and energized, ready to take what they've learned and implement it immediately.

A great storyteller, Roger uses a combination of humorous stories and video clips, photography and steps, along with rules and ingredients in his presentations. Attendees come away motivated and with real "meat and potatoes" content they can implement right away. No wonder Roger has become one of the most sought-after keynote speakers in the world!

Ingredients for an Outstanding Destination:
Have you every wondered why some communities are so successful while others struggle? To find out the DDI team spent nearly six years surveying and studying more than 400 well-branded, vibrant, communities, downtowns, and downtown districts in North America to uncover the most common elements that led to their success. In this photographic "idea book" workshop, you'll hear stories from these places, see dozens of "how-they-did-it" photographic examples, and learn the 20 universal ingredients, including things a community can do to create or enhance its own outstanding destination.

Things You Can Do Today to Make A Difference Tomorrow: This workshop provides a dozen tips and tricks along with inexpensive marketing and community-improvement actions that can be implemented immediately to increase local spending, attract visitors, extend their stays, and increase sales. Using case histories, advertising examples, and dozens of photos, Roger will show you how merchants have doubled their sales for just pennies, tricks that will pull customers into your stores and communties; and ways to get everyone on the same page and pulling in the same direction. This is a "must attend" workshop for all... local businesses, downtown organizations, city leaders, chambers of commerce, tourism, economic development offices, and elected officials.
