The City of Edmonds received an application from Seven Hills Properties to develop the subject property with a Walgreens and a bank located at 9801 Edmonds Way. Tax parcel 27033600113200 is proposed to be subdivided into two lots with a 14,490 square foot Walgreens constructed on one lot and a 3,373 square foot bank constructed on the other lot. An existing bowling alley is proposed to be demolished in order to construct the new buildings. The project will also require some work on the adjacent western parcel (TPN 27033600113300) including installing rain gardens and pedestrian access linking the project to existing adjacent development. The three associated permits related to the proposal are being consolidated under a single review pursuant to ECDC 20.01.002.B as a Type III-B decision.
