recyclingElectronics and Scrap Metal Recycling Event at EWHS this Saturday!
A free recycling event will be taking place at the Edmonds Woodway High School on Saturday, January 24 from 10 am to 3 pm.  The drop-off area will be at the school’s south parking lot that is accessed off 76th Avenue W. The current senior class is sponsoring this one-day event and accepting most electronics and anything made of metal, even major appliances.  Proceeds will go to support the senior’s graduation activities. Bring any electronics, working or not, but please no old tube TVs.  Also not accepted at this event are furniture, tires, light bulbs, household hazardous wastes, glass and wood.


Free classes on How To Be a Toxic-Free Zone
A free series open to everybody!  Learn how toxic chemicals affect your daily life by examining various products that you use at home, in your kitchen, garden, and for personal care.  Learn how to purchase toxic-free products and food, and learn how to make your own toxic-free cleaners.
When:  Six Mondays – January 26 to March 9 (no class on 2/16) – 6:30 to 8:30 pm
