General Permit Assistance

Staff with flowers

The City of Edmonds Development Services Department and Engineering Division are here to assist you through the development process.  The Permit Assistance page provides information related to land use, development codes, standards, project requirements, utilities, etc.

Please note: intake appointments are now required for New Single Family, large Additions, New Commercial, and major Tenant Improvement application submittals. If the plans are prepared by a professional, electronic files are requested in addition to the hard copies. Either bring on a flash drive or coordinate for electronic transfer. Please call 425-771-0220 to schedule an appointment!

EDMONDS CITY LIMITS

Many "Edmonds" addresses are for properties that are actually in unicorporated areas - not within city limits.  Please use the following map link to make sure the property you are interested in actually falls within the City of Edmonds.  The shaded areas on the map show Edmonds city limits.
